Lifetime Warranty

• Defects in workmanship and materials including all working mechanisms as well as the lock dial or electronic lock. Our warranty does not cover client misuse or abuse or Safe Dial, Electronic Keypad or other components.
• Damage from an unlawful attempted forced entry or an actual break-in
• Damage from natural flood and fire

Should any of these circumstances occur MERIK Security LLC will repair or replace any defective or damaged part or replace the safe completely, free of charge, provided the proper sales documentation is furnished to us, the safe has been registered at the time of sale and you have provided MERIK with a properly filed fire or police report within 30 days of the damage. Whenever possible, the safe will be repaired locally by a professional either at your premises or at a professional service center. If your safe needs to be replaced, we will assist in making arrangements to have the safe returned to the factory at the owner’s expense. In no event shall MERIK Security LLC liability exceed the original cost of the MERIK Gun Safe or Gun Vault product cost. Please note, the contents of your safe are NOT covered by MERIK Security LLC. You should contact your insurance carrier to learn more about contents insurance.

CONSIDERATIONS BEFORE MAKING YOUR GUN SAFE OR GUN VAULT PURCHASE: Consider your present needs as well as future needs. We are often told by customers that they did not purchase a safe that is large enough. Additionally, carefully consider the value of the contents you wish to place in the safe as well as the problems you may incur if the contents are lost to either forced entry or loss due to fire or flood. Do your research. Visit the various sections of our website to better understand the categories, features, steel thicknesses and classes of gun safes and vaults offered. Carefully list what you wish to store in the safe. Try to estimate the number of cubic feet needed. Measure the space where you will locate the safe. Measure the height, width, and depth of the available space as well as access to the location before making a decision. No matter how carefully a project is planned, situations may change after your purchase. With this in mind, we have provided a Guaranteed Safe Buy Back Program.

OUR BUY BACK PROGRAM:

• Applies to MERIK Gun Safes and Gun Vaults that are up to 2 years old provided the proper sales and registration documentation has been provided to us.
• Does not include installation costs or any customization costs to your MERIK Gun Safe or Gun Vault.
• Applies to a MERIK Gun Safe or Gun Vault that is replaced with the purchase of a new replacement MERIK Gun Safe or Gun Vault of equal or greater value that is ordered with an installation package. 

PROGRAM COST: You may enroll in the Buy Back Program only at the time of the purchase of your MERIK Gun Safe or Gun Vault. The Program one-time costs are as follows:

• $150 for each Gun Safe or Gun Vault that costs less than $1,499.
• $250 for each Gun Safe or Gun Vault that costs from $1,500 up to $2,499.
• $350 for each Gun Safe or Gun Vault that costs from $2,500 up to $4,999.
• $500 for each Gun Safe or Gun Vault that costs from $5,000 up to $7,000. 

PERCENT CREDITED FROM YOUR ORIGINAL PURCHASE: (This is the amount to be applied to the purchase of a new MERIK Gun Safe or Gun Vault of equal or greater value than the original safe purchased.)  If your original purchase was made:

• Up to 6 months ago: Receive up to a 40% credit of your original purchase price*
• 6 - 12 months ago: Receive up to a 30% credit of your original purchase price*
• 12 - 18 months ago: Receive up to a 20% credit of your original purchase price*
• 18 - 24 months ago:  Receive up to a 15% credit of your original purchase price*

*The percent credited is subject to your MERIK Gun Safe or Gun Vault being in pristine condition (with normal usage). The credit is for the MERIK Gun Safe or Gun Vault only, not for accessories or customization(s) to the Safe or Vault. Photographs of your MERIK Gun Safe or Gun Vault are required to verify condition and to confirm the amount of credit. Modifications to your MERIK Gun Safe or Gun Vault, such as additional holes or enlarging a hole in the Safe or Vault, shall render all Warranties Null and Void.
